Mrs Ruth Butler (Home Manager )
Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse who has been the Clinical Manager since May 1996. She has successfully completed her City & Guilds D32 & D33, and also NVQ L4 in Registered Manager’s Award. I.O.S.H certificate, Fire Safety, First Aid, Moving and Handling, Medication, Food Safety, Health and Safety , Recognising and Reporting Abuse, Nasal Gastric Tube Insertion, Protective Management of Abuse relating to Challenging Behaviour, Break away Techniques, Conflict Management, Infection Control, D.O.L’s Mental Capacity Act, GSF and Level 3 in End of Life Palliative Care and Mentoring of student nurses.

Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse since 1984, achieving ENB 998 Teaching an Assessing qualification in 1990. Also achieved ENB 870 Introduction and Application of Research and ENB 841, City & Guilds D32 & D33, NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, and level 3 Palliative Care. Holds qualifications in Protective Management of Abuse relating to Challenging Behaviour, Break Away Techniques, Conflict Management, Infection Control, DoLS, Mental Capacity Act. Has experience working in the private care home sector for over 30 years, in roles including Home Manager, Peripatetic Manager and Training Coordinator.
